Students and staff on excursion to Perth expected back 4.10 p.m.

Dear Bothwell Families,

I wanted to let you all know that I will be on Long Service Leave for the remainder of this term. 
For the past two years, I have been on a committee in charge of running a National literacy conference which is being held in Hobart this year. The culmination of this planning is the conference next week. During my leave I will be involved in the final planning and running of the conference.

Last year some of our students were involved in our conference launch video that was shared in Adelaide. It was a lovely way to showcase our teaching and learning spaces and beautiful regional school setting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwCNVAvdAtw .

During my absence, Mr Joe Peason will be the Acting Principal on site. Joe will work closely with our leadership team and staff, who all know your young people really well. I know that you will all make Joe feel welcome during his short time at Bothwell. Joe will support the parent-teacher process next week and your young person will be bringing their mid-year report home this week.

The final Celebration Assembly for the term will be held this Monday 30th June. Hot drinks will be available for family members from 1.30pm thanks to our Bothwell Cafe baristas. The assembly will begin at 2.00pm and all familiy members are most welcome.

I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a positive end to the term and a safe and enjoyable school holiday break.

I look forward to being back for the start of Term 3.
